Banglalink offered complementary talk time and internet to the flood victims in Bangladesh

Banglalink has offered complementary talk time and internet to the flood victims in Bangladesh.

The operator made this move to ensure uninterrupted communication as devastating flash floods severely impacted the country’s southeastern and eastern regions across Cumilla, Noakhali and Feni regions, said a press release, reports BSS.

It said that Banglalink users in the flood-affected regions of Cumilla, Noakhali and Feni can utilize 10 minutes of talk time and 500MB internet with 3 days validity, free of charge.

Eligible customers of flood affected areas will receive detailed information about the offers, its benefits, and the activation process through SMS notifications.

Gazi Towhid Ahmed, Head of Corporate Communications of Banglalink, said that as a socially responsible organization, Banglalink is proactively taking initiatives to make communication more accessible for the victims.

“Through uninterrupted talk time and internet, we hope to eliminate any remaining communication barrier and stand by the people,” he added.
