In areas affected by flooding, mobile phone provider Robi is offering free internet access and 20 minutes of talk time to help with emergency communication.
Customers of Robi can use this three-day-validity free talk time and internet by dialing 2121#. Customers can call *888# to see if they qualify for the promotion, according to a Robi press release from today.
“We believe this special offer of free talk-time and internet will help people stay connected with their loved ones during the critical time,” said Shahed Alam, Robi Axiata Limited’s Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer.
“Our team is working tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted network service in the affected areas,” he added.
