According to a report on the cricket-focused website Cricbuzz, this decision was made during a virtual board meeting of the International Cricket Council on Tuesday.
Given the recent political upheaval, there were concerns regarding Bangladesh’s ability to hold the tournament. But the provisional administration gave assurances on this.
