Today, the recently sworn-in advisers’ portfolios were made public. The Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs has been assigned to Supradeep Chakma, while the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has been assigned to Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar.
In this regard, a notification was released today by the Cabinet Division.
Today saw the swearing-in of the two advisors of the 17-member Council of Advisers to the Interim Government, which is chaired by Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath while Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus witnessed the ceremony at Darbar Hall of the Bangabhaban here.
Earlier on Thursday, 13 out of the 17 members of the interim government’s advisers’ council took an oath of office.
Bir Pratik, another advising Navy Commando and heroic Freedom Fighter Farooq-e Azam, was already outside the capital and was unable to take an oath.
