In order to complete the concept of the interim government at Bangabhaban tonight, President Mohammed Shahabuddin met with the leaders of the three services and the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. This decision was made.
Subsequently, Md. Joynal Abedin, the President’s Press Secretary, informed the BSS that the meeting’s suggestion received approval from Head of State Shahabuddin.
The President declared that other political parties in the nation would be consulted before deciding on the names of the other members of the temporary administration.
It was stressed by the President, who is also a brave freedom fighter, to appoint a brave freedom warrior as an advisor to the transitional administration.
The meeting took place between 7:30 and 11:30p.m.
Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Professor Asif Nazrul of Dhaka University’s Law Department, and Professor Tanzim Uddin Khan of Dhaka University’s International Relations Department were present at the meeting.
“The country is going through a deep crisis, and an interim government must form as soon as possible to resolve this problem,” stated the president.
In order to overcome this situation, he pushed everyone to cooperate.
There were thirteen coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement: Hasnat Abdullah, Md. Nahid Islam, Mohammad Naseeruddin Patwari, Mahfuz Alam, Abubakar Majumdar, Arif Sohail, Sarjis Alam, Nazifa Jannat, Nusrat Tabassum, Khan Talat Mahmud Rafy, Abu Sadiq, Ivan Tahseer, and Asif Mahmud.
