Margot Robbie, 34, an Academy Award-nominated actress, is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley, People has been informed by several sources.
Meet on the set of ‘Suite Francaise’ in 2013, the pair married in a private ceremony in December 2016 in Byron Bay, Australia. Before their unexpected wedding, their engagement was discreet.
Through their production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, which they co-own with Robbie’s childhood friend Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara, the 34-year-old Robbie and Ackerley have been close partners.
Robbie is the star of several popular films produced by the business, including “I, Tonya,” “Birds of Prey,” and “Barbie.”
In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Ackerley talked about how their personal and professional lives coexist peacefully and without rigid boundaries.
“[We spend] 24 hours a day [together],” he said. “It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
Representatives for Robbie and Ackerley have not commented on the pregnancy news as per People.
