T20 World Cup: Bangladesh team reach Houston

After traveling by plane for 25 hours via Dubai, the men’s national cricket team of Bangladesh arrived in Houston, Texas, early on Thursday (local time), as it was raining due to a hurricane.

It was pouring rain when the Bangladeshi squad arrived at the Houston airport, according to team manager Rabeed Imam.

The sky was overcast when this report was filed at 10:00 am (Houston time).
According to a CNN report, at least four people have perished in the storm as a result of the powerful hurricane and widespread power outages.

To overcome their jet lag, the Bangladeshi players would probably pass the time in the team hotel.

If the weather holds, they might attend a training session.

On May 21, 23, and 25, the Tigers and the US will square off in a three-match Twenty20 series at Prairie View Cricket Complex.

On June 8, Bangladesh’s first-ever ICC T20 World Cup match will take place against Sri Lanka in a Dallas stadium as the squad plays the US in an official warm-up match.
