Florida judge indefinitely postpones Trump documents trial

The commencement of Donald Trump’s trial was indefinitely delayed on Tuesday by the Florida judge overseeing his criminal case for allegedly mishandling confidential documents.

Judge Aileen Cannon stated that due to the volume of pre-trial papers filed with the court, the former president’s May 20 trial was not feasible.

She did not reschedule the trial’s commencement date.
