Russia claimed on Thursday to have destroyed two ballistic missiles and twenty drones in areas bordering Ukraine, including Rostov, the location of its command center for the attack in that country.
“During the night, several terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime were foiled,” the defence ministry said.
It claimed to have neutralized two Tochka-U missiles, five balloons intended to divert the focus of air defense systems, and twenty drones, 16 of which were shot down.
There have been almost daily Ukrainian strikes in the Belgorod region, where 16 drones and two missiles were shot down.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has increased its attacks against Russia, focusing on its energy infrastructure.
