US-Bangla Airlines adds 2nd wide-body aircraft   

As the nation’s first-ever private airline, US-Bangla today added a second wide-body Airbus 330-300 aircraft with a 436 seat capacity in an attempt to expand to Europe.
        
“As part of future plans with the new addition, Airbus will operate London, Rome routes along with Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam in Saudi Arabia,” said a press release issued by the airlines here.

According to the statement, US-Bangla Airlines will currently use the recently acquired aircraft on its operations to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, and Kuala Lumpur.
This morning, at 5:30 a.m., an Airbus 330-300 from Guangzhou, China touched down at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), becoming the 24th aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines.

In terms of aircraft, US-Bangla Airlines is currently the biggest airline in Bangladesh, operating two Airbus 330-300, nine Boeing 737-800, ten ATR 72-600, and three Dash 8-Q400.

The airline presently flies to Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Guangzhou on international routes.

It offers frequent service on all seven domestic routes in addition to the international ones.
