To meet demand from travelers, Biman Bangladesh Airlines would run 40 additional domestic flights around the impending Eid-ul-Fitr.
Additionally, the national flag carrier has made the decision to grant base-fare discounts ranging from 15 to 25 percent to its various domestic routes during the first 20 days of Ramadan.
The national flag carrier has been adding flights on Eid every year to give its esteemed customers a comfortable, traffic-congestion-free travel experience a few days prior to and following Eids.
The base rate that Biman announced was Taka 5999 from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Taka 3499 from Barishal, and Taka 4499 from Sylhet, Chattogram, Jashore, Rajshahi, and Syedpur.
The state-owned airline currently flies to all seven of the nation’s domestic locations.
