Rowshan urges her party-men to be united

Begum Rowshan Ershad, the chief patron of the Jatiya Party (JP), asked her party’s leaders and members to come together for the sake of the party today.

She remarked in a statement that it is truly extremely regrettable that the Jatiya Party’s leaders and workers are split among several factions.

She added that it is very unfortunate for the party’s committed workers and candidates who ran in the parliamentary elections as many of the party’s supporters of founder H. M. Ershad were banished, weakening the party.

She pushed for the expelled leader to be reinstated immediately with the JP chairman and other top leaders.
