According to the head of a nearby hospital, five Palestinians were killed in fighting with Israeli soldiers near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem on Tuesday.
The Israeli army killed the five Palestinian males, ages 21 to 29, during a city operation, according to Amin Khader, the director of the Thabet hospital, where the deaths were reported. The Israeli army informed AFP that the same area of the occupied West Bank had seen an operation.
