Choose France: Paris launches brand campaign

France has started a global marketing effort to highlight its advantages, which include a strong industrial basis, innovation, and a vibrant cultural and artistic scene.

A French government memorandum claims that this is being done to increase the country’s economic appeal. “Selecting France is placing your trust in audacity, inventiveness, the desire to express yourself, and talent.”

In November, the campaign will launch in five countries: Germany, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, India and the United States, and France. It will also include billboard advertising in airports, commercial areas of important international cities, and adverts in foreign press outlets.

It will be boosted around the world by the French diplomatic network and State agencies.

Make It Iconic – choose France is the slogan of the campaign.

Kylian Mbappé, World Cup winner at the age of 19; Sophie Adenot, masterful Helicopter Test pilot; Mory Sacko, world-renowned French Chef; and Fanny Moizant et Sophie Hersan, changemakers in Fashion, are some of the big names from France.

“France is already attractive; we will make it global,” the French embassy in Dhaka said about the campaign.

“In France, we’re not just like everyone else. And we think you’re not, either! We believe that everyone can do things their own way. Everyone can make an impact. Because what moves people is what they really remember.

“Because it’s the only way we can move forward. Because we cannot give ourselves up to a future written by others. Challenge the status quo. Choose unexplored paths. Aim for the extraordinary as you shatter the ordinary. Elevate the present and inspire future generations,” the embassy said.

France is one of the most modern countries in the world and is a leader among European nations.
