Google’s search engine created a touching doodle in honor of the late actor Sridevi on the occasion of her 60th birthday.
On its home page, Google honored Sridevi with an eye-catching depiction of the star done by Mumbai-based guest artist Bhumika Mukherjee.
She was recognized for her iconic roles in Hindi films like Chandni, Lamhe, Mr. India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma, and English Vinglish, among many others. She was born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963. The Padma Shri recipient also earned a name for herself with her outstanding work in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada movies.
Her final movie, “Mom,” also earned her a posthumous Best Actress National Award.
On February 24, 2018, Sridevi passed away in Dubai, where she had traveled to attend a family event.
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, two of Sridevi’s daughters from her marriage to film mogul Boney Kapoor, are still living.
Boney frequently shares old photos of him and his wife on social media.
As for the job front, Boney recently appeared alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia in the romantic comedy movie “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.”
His upcoming project is the sports biography film “Maidaan,” starring Ajay Devgn as the illustrious coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely regarded as the father of Indian football. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh are also featured in the movie.
The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.
