Selena Gomez is celebrating her birthday in style! The Only Murders in the Building star celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday with a large party attended by friends, including Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera, and she posted a number of behind-the-scenes photos from the event to Instagram.
“31” Gomez wrote in a simple caption for the carousel of photos from her party.
The actress and singer’s vivid birthday party attire was shown in the first picture, which featured a stylish strapless red mini dress with flower applique and black strappy sandals. Her outfit was finished by a chic updo. Other pictures of Gomez dancing and posing with partygoers were also taken, and one picture was taken when she was given a huge birthday cake decorated with sparklers.
Another chic black-and-white image showed the birthday girl and guest Hilton, 42, posing with their arms around each other. “Happy Birthday beautiful!? So much fun celebrating with you last night!?,” the heiress wrote in the comments section of Gomez’s post,
Gomez posted a black-and-white photo of herself hugging Christina Aguilera, another A-list party attendee, on her Instagram Story. The 42-year-old “Beautiful” singer, who was taking in the celebration from a wooden chair, was being hugged by the birthday girl as she leaned up to embrace him.

Gomez shared on her Instagram Story that she also attended a special screening of the newest Barbie movie as part of her birthday celebrations.
In one photo, the movie was set to start on a big screen, and in another, the actress’ pals were seated in what appeared to be very comfy chairs while dressed in pink clothes with Barbie-inspired details.
After the film, the group had a private dinner, and Gomez shared pictures of the pink-clad bunch seated around a table piled high with what appeared to be delectable food and beverages on her Instagram story.
The birthday girl herself adopted the theme of the film; in one photo, she was seen donning a vivid pink frock and lipstick while resting her hand on her chin.
