Lay’s Chips facility to be in Bogura, Bangladesh

The widely recognized potato chip brand Lay’s will now be produced in Bangladesh. For this, a plant has been established in Bogura.

According to a press statement, the factory was opened on Tuesday afternoon by Transcom Group CEO Simeen Rahman and President of PepsiCo India Region Ahmed ELsheikh.

The global food and beverage corporation PepsiCo owns the Lay’s brand. In Bangladesh, Transcom is a partner of PepsiCo. In Bangladesh, a Lay’s plant is being built in partnership with Transcom Consumer Products.

Under PepsiCo’s “Lay’s Made in Bangladesh” project, this facility was established.
