The inauguration will take place on May 20 in Bengaluru.
The Congress Legislative Party (CLP) has scheduled a meeting in Bengaluru for Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has dispatched Central Observers to Bengaluru to oversee the CLP Meeting.
Earlier on Wednesday, Congress Karnataka-in-charge Randeep Surjewala stated that the next Karnataka chief minister would be announced today or tomorrow, and that a new government would be in place within 72 hours.
