Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is out of the hospital and recovering after an unidentified medical problem, according to his daughter and publicist.
Last month, Foxx, 55, was transported to a medical facility in Georgia, where he was filming a Netflix feature at the time.
No information on his medical status has been released since, prompting speculation that the “Django Unchained” star’s health is deteriorating.
Corinne Foxx, on the other hand, debunked the claims in an Instagram post on Friday.
“Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!” she wrote.
Foxx’s representative confirmed the news to AFP, but did not elaborate.
Foxx, an actor, comedian, and Grammy-winning singer, received an Academy Award in 2005 for his work in the Ray Charles musical biopic “Ray,” and he was also nominated for his work in “Collateral” that year.
He was recently filming “Back in Action,” co-starring Cameron Diaz, in Georgia.
In her initial post April 12, Corinne Foxx wrote that her father had “experienced a medical complication” but “due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery.”
Foxx himself last week posted a message on the social media platform, simply reading: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”
