The release date of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s next action thriller flick ‘Jawan’ has been pushed back.
The film will now be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 7, 2023.
Taking to Instagram, production house Red Chillies Entertainment announced the news and shared a new glimpse of his film which he captioned, “#Jawan #7thSeptember2023.”
The picture, directed by Atlee, was originally scheduled to open in theaters on June 2nd, but the producers have opted to change the official release date.
The true cause for the film’s postponement is still unknown.
The film is being marketed as an event film, complete with high-octane action sequences. It was produced by Shah Rukh’s production firm, Red Chillies Entertainment.
In June 2022, SRK released the trailer for the film, which began with a sight of the Northern Lights across mountain tops.
Then we saw Shah Rukh in the dark, tying bandages around his face while the film’s theme played in the background.
The film also stars south actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.
Apart from this, SRK will also be seen in director Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Dunki’ opposite actor Taapsee Pannu. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
