At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023, which were presented on Monday at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor triumphed.
For her portrayal of the famous character Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” Alia was chosen best actress, and Ranbir was nominated best actor for “Brahmastra.”
Ranbir did not attend the event. The award was accepted on his behalf by Alia.
For “Bhediya,” Varun Dhawan got the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor. The Best Film award went to “The Kashmir Files” by Vivek Agnihotri.
Anupam Kher won the prize for the year’s most versatile actor for this movie.
Neetu Kapoor can be happy because two awards have come to her house. Neetu posted a screenshot of the recipients on her Instagram story.
Alia posted a photo of herself holding her prize to her Instagram story.
Varun Dhawan also shared on his story snippets from the evening and his award.
