Drake, Roasts Los Angeles Clippers for Calling Him a ‘Fan’

The Los Angeles Clippers referred to Drake as one of their “fans” on social media, which Drake didn’t appreciate. In response, Drake mocked the NBA franchise.

The Los Angeles Clippers posted a video of Drake rapping up two of the team’s most well-known players, Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell, on Wednesday (Dec. 28) on their official Instagram account. The “Rich Flex” rapper was courtside before the Clippers’ game against his preferred team, the Toronto Raptors, and the Clippers implied in the IG video’s description that Drake was an ecstatic “fan” taking a minute to embrace the top NBA ballers. The OVO CEO was undoubtedly offended by the Clippers’ rude post.

“Kawhi [Leonard] and Norm [Powell] with a fan,” wrote the Los Angeles Clippers to caption the video conveniently showing Champagne Papi warmly greeting the two players.

Just over an hour after the Los Angeles team appeared to poke fun at Drake, the Her Loss rapper went straight to the post’s comment area and didn’t hold back. Drizzy responded by ridiculing the entire Los Angeles team with three simple words meant to destroy the emotions of both the Clippers and their fans alike, knowing full well that the Clippers had never claimed either an NBA championship or a conference title.

“Win a ring,” replied Drake in the devastating IG comment pictured below.
