Brunei’s sultan departs Dhaka

This morning, following a three-day first official visit to Bangladesh, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah of Brunei Darussalam departed from this location.

The Sultan was bid farewell at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the nation’s capital by Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen.

At 9:25 a.m., the Royal Brunei Airlines special VVIP jet with the Sultan and his entourage boarded took off from the airport.
