Christopher Nolan’s oppenheimer movie drops first look

The first look at Cillian Murphy as the main character in Christopher Nolan’s next film, Oppenheimer, has been released. Oppenheimer is a biography of J. Robert Oppenheimer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kenneth Branagh and Michael Angarano have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s film about the father of the atomic bomb, which is now filming in New Mexico.

Murphy is shown concentrating intensely while smoking a cigarette in the monochrome photograph, which is accurate to the historical record. Oppenheimer was a habitual smoker who developed throat cancer later in life.

Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, and David Krumholtz are among the film’s star-studded cast.

For the uninitiated, Oppenheimer was one of the founders of the atomic bomb during WWII, but his devotion to the US was later called into doubt by hawkish government leaders.
