Priyanka Chopra, an actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, is the latest celebrity to speak out about the continuing Russia-Ukraine issue.
On Friday, Priyanka expressed her concern for the safety of “innocent people” in Ukraine on Instagram.
She wrote, “The situation unfolding in Ukraine is terrifying. Innocent people living in fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones, while trying to navigate the uncertainty of the immediate future. It’s difficult to comprehend how in the modern world this could escalate to such a catastrophic point, but this is a consequential moment that will reverberate around the world.”
Priyanka also included a link to UNICEF in her bio to let everyone know how they can aid the people of Ukraine during these tough times.

The situation in Ukraine has deteriorated since Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military incursion in the country on Thursday.
