On December 12, the Foreign Ministry will commemorate ‘Digital Bangladesh Day’ here and in all Bangladesh embassies throughout the world.
The 12th of December will be marked as Digital Bangladesh Day 2021, with a week-long celebration home and at Bangladesh missions overseas, according to a press release from the Foreign Ministry.
A debating competition, an essay writing competition on various facets of digital Bangladesh, a global 50-word short fiction contest on the Bangladesh dream, and a 4IR themed webinar on December 12 are among the events scheduled.
On 12 December 2008, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the announcement of the initiative to build a digital Bangladesh as the main premise of Vision 2021.
