Over 200 Talibans killed in airstrikes in Afghanistan

According to an Afghan defence ministry official, the Taliban suffered severe fatalities on Sunday when Air Forces struck their gatherings and hideouts in the city of Shebergan, killing 200 members of the terrorist organization.

“Air Forces struck terrorist Taliban gatherings and hideouts in Shebergan city today evening, killing over 200 terrorist Taliban and destroying a huge quantity of their weapons and ammunition, as well as over 100s of their vehicles,” tweeted Fawad Aman, an Afghan defence ministry official. A B-52 bomber attacked a Taliban gathering in Shebergan, Jawzjan province, this evening around 6:30 p.m.

“A B-52 bomber bombed a Taliban gathering in Shebergan city, Jawzjan province, today at 6:30 p.m. The terrorists incurred many losses as a result of the US Air Forces airstrike,” an Afghan defence ministry spokesman tweeted.

Earlier morning, Afghan commando troops caught a Pakistani national terrorist on the borders of Ghazni’s provincial centre. He has involved in terrorist actions as well as the murder of innocent people.

According to TOLO News, the Taliban took control of the capital of Jawzjan province in northern Afghanistan following a week of intense combat with government forces.

The important city of Sheberghan, according to the Afghan news agency, is the second provincial capital to fall to the Taliban in the last two days.

Local MPs criticized the Afghan government for the security situation in Jawzjan, claiming it was unconcerned about the situation. This comes as 150 members of the popular uprising forces arrived in Sheberghan on Friday to assist other forces on the ground, according to media sources.

The Taliban took control of the capital of Nimroz province in southeastern Afghanistan on Friday. According to TOLO, the Taliban took Zaranj with no resistance from government forces.
