A suicide bomber has killed at least 30 people at a guest house in Afghanistan’s Logar province. Nearly 100 people were injured in the attack on Friday evening.
The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a U.S. military base. From today, the United States will begin removing the existing 2,500 military members.
A statement from the provincial home ministry said that a heavy truck suddenly broke through the security cordon during Iftar and entered the Pul-e-Alam guest house. The powerful blast damaged the main building as well as surrounding houses.
