In 2020, the coronavirus outbreak once again demonstrates that our existing health system both public and private do not have the capacity to provide adequate services beyond the city corporation and municipalities.
Furthermore, people face a lot of challenges in accessing basic health services, that include access to basic health services, lack of knowledge regarding health and nutrition issues, gender-based violence, lack of recognition of mental health, and lack of institutional delivery.
In order to address some of these challenges Shishu Aangina planning to provide a comprehensive health intervention, in Baghdi, Kaliganj with the aim of improving the health, nutrition, and mental health status of the whole community with an emphasis on women, adolescents, and youth.
