The ICC Board gathered last Tuesday (26 May) to discuss the method for electing the next Chair of the ICC.
No final decision has been made on the selection process and the matter will be discussed further at the next meeting of the ICC Board. The current chairman has confirmed that he does not want any expansion in his term but will support the board to ensure a smooth transition.
In addition, news of the postponement of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 is not accurate and plans for the event continue, with a number of volatile plans being made in light of the rapidly changing public health situation caused by the COVID 19 virus.
