Australia plans to repatriate 120 citizens from Dhaka on June 13

Australian High Commission in Dhaka is planning to arrange a special flight for 120 citizens to return home from Bangladesh.

“The flight will require a minimum of 120 passengers. If we reach this number, the flight will leave Dhaka on June 13,” the High Commission announced on Wednesday.

The High Commission has emailed all those registered with them, including details of the proposed aircraft arrangement.

Earlier, on May 16, the Australian High Commission in Dhaka said it needed to reschedule the special flight, which was originally scheduled for May 28.

The High Commission announced they would give further details to everyone who has established their interest in the third flight as soon as they can confirm them.

The plane is open only to Australian passport holders, permanent Australian visa holders and their spouses, parents or children, the High Commission said.
