Mashrafe will get back the bracelet which was auctioned for Tk 4.2 million

Mashrafe bin Murtaza put his favorite companion bracelet up for auction with high expectations. The former Bangladesh captain has auctioned off his 18-year-old comrade in the fight with the Coronavirus. The bracelet has been sold for 4.2 Million taka (BDT 42 lakh).

After the auction, Mashrafe bin Mortaza stated he had no idea that his bracelet was going to get so much money.

Mashrafe was overwhelmed by the value and respect he received from the bracelet auction. He said, not only in his own area Narail, but this money will also help outside Narail. In the Corona War, Mashrafe’s bracelet was the highest selling of the equipment auctioned by Bangladeshi cricketers. It was bought by a financial institution — Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Company (BLFCA).

The sale price of the bracelet will be used in the fight against Corona. With this fund, The Narail Express Foundation will help helpless people in this coronavirus disaster. The most interesting part is, The auctioned bracelet will be returned to Mashrafe. Mominul Islam, representative BLFCA at tomorrow’s auction, said the bracelet would be returned as a ‘gift’ to the former ODI captain of the national cricket team by organizing an event on behalf of their organization. Because this bracelet fits in the captain’s hand only.

 

“It feels so good.. it feels so so good. This thing is very emotional for me. I did not expect so much. Gratitude to all concerned for the respect shown to me.” Captain Mash said after the announcement.

Mashrafe, who is also a Member of Parliament from Narail-2 constituency, has been carrying out massive relief activities in his area since the outbreak of Kovid-19 disease. Besides, he has helped many people in the cricket field.
