Coronavirus might never depart and humanity around the world will have to be compelled to learn to deal with it, the World Health Organization (WHO) predicted on last wednesday.
Previously, the virus was initially appeared in Wuhan in China at the tip of 2019 and has since affected over 4.2 million individuals and killed nearly 300,000 worldwide. The count is still on run.
“We have a new virus entering the human population for the first time and therefore it is very hard to predict when we will prevail over it,” stated Michael Ryan, the WHO’s emergency director from an online press conference in WHO headquarters in Geneva.
“This virus may become just another endemic virus in our communities and this virus may never go away… HIV has not gone away — but we have come to terms with the virus.”, He also added.
In last couple of months, more than half of people have been put under a lockdown or restriction after the coronavirus crisis started.
WHO also warned there was no other way to assure that lifting the restrictions for the people would not trigger a second wave of infections.
