Last month Umar Akmal withdrew himself from challenging the charges against him.
Umar’s ban period will be effective from February 20, when he was temporarily suspended by PCB under its anti-corruption code, which says a player must have to report while being approached to fix games.
The decision was announced by a disciplinary committee after a brief hearing of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
He was previously arrested in February 2014 after a scuffle with a traffic warden who stopped him for a signal violation.
Umar last represented Pakistan in Twenty20 internationals against Sri Lanka in Lahore last year. where he was failed to make a single run in two matches in that series.
He has so far represented Pakistan in 16 Tests, 121 ODI, and 84 Twenty20s matches.
