Banglalink expands strong 4G network across Bangladesh

Banglalink, a digital communications service provider in Bangladesh, has expanded its strong 4G network across the country to provide customers with seamless connectivity and quality digital services.

Along with upgrading nearly 1000 sites to 4G, Banglalink has expanded its coverage to another 400 locations. An event was held recently at Tiger’s Den, Banglalink Head Office, to commemorate the occasion. Present at the event were Upanga Dutta, Chief Commercial Officer, Banglalink, Pierre Boutros Obeid, Chief Technology Officer, Banglalink and other senior members of the organization.

Following the additional spectrum purchase and 4G launch back in 2018, Banglalink expanded its network and managed to register impressive quarterly results. In Q2 2019, Banglalink registered a 5.4% YoY total revenue growth, driven by a remarkable 28% YoY increase in the data revenue.

The activation of 4G technology and network coverage expansion is a notable accomplishment for us, as it shows how fast we are rolling out our network across the country.”
