The First Ever AWS Developers Meetup Dhaka Took Place on 31st May. After 2 years of establishment, Amazon Web Services (AWS) User Group Bangladesh for the first time ever arranged “AWS Developers Meetup Dhaka” to strengthen the developers’ community in Bangladesh. This community with the help of AWS & Brain Station 23 (one of the top IT Company & Partner of AWS) arranged the meetup on 31st May. More than a hundred people participated in the meetup, where there were mostly developers from different IT companies along with IT freelancers & cloud enthusiasts.
There were 5 speakers for the event. Mr. Najah Naazi, Solution Architect, AWS, Australia, specially visited Bangladesh to attend the event and took a great session on AI/ML & IoT development on AWS, followed by training for AWS topics in the meetup. Mr. Mozammel Haque, GM & Head of R&D, Technology Division, bKash joined for a session where he discussed “How AWS enables faster R&D”; CTO, AjkerDeal, Mr. Rony Mondal shared their e-commerce journey with AWS and CEO, Cloud Creative Mr. Nashid Ali and then Head of Global Business & Cloud Technology Team Lead, Brain Station 23 Ltd., Mr. Mizanur Rahman took special sessions.
Community leader, Farzana Afrin Tisha, who is currently working as a Business Development Manager in Brain Station 23, promised the community to come up with more meetups like this in the coming time, so that, together the community can grow and achieve more. Finally, the program ended with a thanking note to Amazon Web Service (AWS) team and Brain Station 23’s CEO, Mr. Raisul Kabir & COO, Mr. MJ Ferdous for supporting the great cause of the community for sharing knowledge about the cloud technology.
