Two Bangladeshi youths, cartoonist Morshed Abdulla Al and ride sharing platform Pathao cofounder Hussain Elius were maintained in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list of 2019.
Morshed & Elius took place in this prestigious list by the Forbes, a prestigious American business magazine, after scrutinizing over 2,000 entries. The prestigious magazine published short biographies on Hussain Elius and Morshed Abdulla Al.
Bangladeshi cartoonist under the pen name Morshed Mishu began transforming tragic and shocking images from wars into joyful art at the beginning of 2018, with the hope to show how beautiful the world would be without violence or war on it.
After his work became viral, Mishu was awarded the ‘Global Happiness Challenge’ project. Currently, he is the assistant editor at Unmad, a Dhaka-based satire magazine, and the founder of Morshed Mishu’s Illustration.
Hussain Elius cofounded “Pathao” with Shifat Adnan (over 30), Which is one of the leading ride-sharing, on-demand logistics, and food delivery platform in Bangladesh. Today, its motorbike and car-hailing vertical alone serves five million riders across five cities in Bangladesh and Kathmandu in Nepal.

Elius envisions Pathao as the country’s ‘super app’ and is inspired by one of his key investors, Indonesia’s Go-Jek. Pathao has raised over US$ 12.8 million from four rounds of funding and is valued at over US$ 100 million, according to the biography of Elius published on the magazine.
After heavily examining over 2,000 entries by a team of reporters and vetted by an A-list of judges, the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list was prepared.
For the fourth year in a row, a team at Forbes Asia scouted the Asia- Pacific region in search for 300 outstanding individuals to highlight in the annual Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. Across 10 industries, young entrepreneurs and rising stars were selected from 23 countries and territories to make up this year’s list.
