Biman Bangladesh Airlines has declared discounted tickets on six international routes to give a boost to tourism. The offer will be available at the three-day Dhaka Travel Mart 2019 at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital, Biman’s spokesperson Shakil Meraj told reporters.
Biman offers 25 percent discounts in economy class on Dhaka-Yangon route while 20 percent discount on Kathmandu, Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur route and 10 percent to Kolkata as part of its efforts to provide convenient services to its customers especially holidaymakers, he said, reports BSS.
Besides, a passenger will be able to buy tickets of other international routes of the national flag carrier at seven percent discount, he added.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, having its main hub at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka with its flights also operating from its secondary hubs at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong as well as Osmani International Airport in Sylhet. The airline provides international passenger and cargo services to multiple destinations and has air service agreements with 42 countries.
