Three teenage boys were killed in a “horrific” crash when a car hit them as they waited near a bus stop in west London on Friday evening.
The boys, two aged 16 and one aged 17, had heading been to a birthday party, but died at the scene.
The crash happened just after 20:30 GMT on Shepiston Lane, Hayes, close to a petrol station.
A man, 28, who was in the Audi involved in the crash, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He had been detained by members of the public and was taken to hospital for treatment before being taken to a north London police station for questioning.
At least one other male is reported to have left the car following the collision.
Police said they were doing everything they could to establish the full facts and trace everybody involved.
