To celebrate the International Peace Day, JCI Dhaka Central organized a bicycle rally on the 22nd September 2017. The idea of the bicycle rally was to promote a healthy lifestyle through pollution free and environmentally friendly ways of transport.
Another motive was to engage and build awareness among the members of JCI Bangladesh and city dwellers to work toward a noise and traffic pollution free Dhaka city. Moreover, both the public and traffic authorities were very supportive during the event.
There were approximately fifty participants including JCI Dhaka Central members who participated in the event. The bicycle rally started from Hatirjheel and ended in Banani Chairman Bari playground. JCI Dhaka Central 2017 Local president Abu Taleb Siddique Sanju inaugurated the event.
To support the event National Board members of JCI Bangladesh were present including 2017 National Vice-president Mir Sahed Ali, 2017 National Secretary General Irfan Islam, 2017 National Treasurer Sumon Howlader and 2017 National Director Rebeka Sultana Binti.
