Aiming to bring affordable smartphones in the hands of the Bangladeshi people, Grameenphone has partnered with Symphony and itel on August 16th to launch the Grameenphone Cobranded Symphony G20 and Itel it1409 in the Bangladesh market.
The launch of the two devices in a ceremony at the Grameenphone Corporate House follows the huge success and popularity of the leading digital service provider’s previously launched co-branded smartphones.
Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO and Chief Marketing Officer, Grameenphone launched the two smartphones in the presence of Sarder Showkat Ali – Head of Device, Grameenphone; Md Maksudur Rahman – Senior Director-Business Operation of Symphony Mobile, Edison Group; and Mr. Rezwanul Hoque – CEO of Transsion Bangladesh. High officials and project group of Grameenphone, Edison group and Transsion Bangladesh were also present in the ceremony.

It packs a 4.0” WVGA display, 2 MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera, 8GB ROM, 512MB RAM and 1500 mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in two different colors (Metallic Gold, Dark Grey) and is priced at only BDT 3,100.
The Symphony G20 boasts a 4.0” WVGA Screen, 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor, 4GB ROM with a 512 MB RAM. It has a 2MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera, 1400 mAh battery and its run by Android 6.0 OS. The smartphone is available in the market with two different colors (Black, Dark Blue) and the price is only BDT 2,900.
