Citycell CEO arrested at Dhaka airport

Immigration police have arrested Citycell CEO Mehboob Chowdhury at the Dhaka airport and later handed him over to the Anti-Corruption Commission in an embezzlement case.

 Chowdhury was arrested after he arrived at the airport from Sri Lanka on Saturday, Immigration police OC Saidur Rahman told bdnews24.com by phone.He faces charges of embezzling about Tk 3.5 billion taken in bank loans from AB Bank for Citycell, now shuttered by the telecom regulator
