Bangladesh basketball team beat host Maldives by 86-52 points in their third match of 5th South Asian Basketball Championship (men’s) held on Monday in the Maldives.
Shamsuzzaman Khan Soyab was named the man of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
Earlier, on the day, India beat Sri Lanka by 88-61 points.
Bangladesh will meet strong India in their last league match scheduled to be held tomorrow (Tuesday).
Bangladesh team is expected to return home on Wednesday.
