As a part of a responsible business operation in Bangladesh, A H Khan & Co. Ltd. a business partner and supplier of British American tobacco Bangladesh, built an environment-friendly world class warehouse at Shayestaganj in Habiganj, Bangladesh. Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh AKM Shahidul Hoque BPM, PPM has officially inaugurated the operation of the warehouse building situated at Shayestaganj.
Head of supply chain, Ozsan Ozbas and Managing Director, Shehzad Munim from BAT Bangladesh, DIG of Sylhet Police, Md. Kamrul Ahsan BPM, Police Super of Habiganj, Joydeb kumar Bhadra, Chairman of A H Khan & Co. Ltd. Abu Hossain Khan, CFO of Lafarge Surma Cement, Masud Khan and higher officials of Bangladesh police and different multi-national companies were present on the Program.

The 2.2-acre warehouse premise is surrounded by medicinal plants like Margosa, which is widely popular as bio pest for killing insects and purifying the air naturally. This warehouse features Solar panel which adds nine thousand kilowatt electricity to the national grid every day. Also, the main warehousing space enjoys abundant sun light and thus, save power requirement in the day time.
