The Homecoming of goddess Durga is one of the most colorful and festive occasions in Bangladesh. This is the biggest yearly festival for the People of Hindu religion. Also, other religion peoples also join this festival. So far In Mymensingh, it’s also Celebrated with different Arrangements. And one that is the Photo Exhibition about Goddess Durga’s homecoming, “Sharodio” organized by Mymensingh Film & Photography Society (MFPS).
This year MFPS is organizing the 3rd “Sharodio” photo exhibition with 24 different photos. Among the photographers, most of are from Bangladesh and some are guest photographers from Kolkata. This year Organizers trying to introduce both country’s culture in one plate. This exhibition is going to exhibit in one of the biggest Hindu Temple in town, called “Durga Bari”.
MFPS chief responding officer Mridha Shihab Mahmud said, “We are continuously trying to give the opportunity to the youth to represent our culture and tradition every place possible. This year aimed to introduce other country’s same tradition in a different view with some guest photographer from Kolkata, hope everyone will love this”.
