On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended a parliamentary session following his release from the hospital following surgery to remove his prostate over the weekend.
With Israel still fighting Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip some 15 months after their historic October 7, 2023 attack, the procedure was performed on Sunday.
As parliamentarians gathered to vote on a bill pertaining to fiscal plans on Tuesday, Netanyahu was spotted interacting with them.
Netanyahu’s office said on Saturday that he had been diagnosed with a benign prostatic enlargement-related urinary tract infection.
He underwent surgery at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Medical Centre, which said he was “in good condition” after the operation.
Netanyahu had surgery to repair a hernia in March, and following a medical emergency in July of last year, doctors inserted a pacemaker.
