Bolivia is a Latin American country that has been ravaged by catastrophic flooding and landslides. Days of severe rainfall have already flooded several locations, including the capital La Paz and the Andean region.
The majority of the area’s structures, including roads and buildings, have been submerged under water. The landslide has entirely wrecked a number of homes. The ongoing disaster has impacted at least 72,000 families.
To avert casualties, many residents have been evacuated. As the rains continue, meteorologists fear that the situation could worsen. A moderate landslide has prompted the administration to declare an orange notice.
