Justice, Law, and Parliamentary Matters Today, Minister Md. Asaduzzaman announced that those who commit crimes like rape will not be spared, nor will those who provide sanctuary or assist them.
He stated that such criminals will be subject to the full weight of the law and that they will not be shielded by any political affiliation or sanctuary.
The minister said these things this morning in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office during an exchange of opinions meeting with Jhenaidah Members of Parliament and government representatives.
He emphasized the importance of the July Mass Uprising by pointing out that the current administration was formed as a result of the national election, which was won at the expense of the martyrs’ fresh blood.
He emphasized that the government will not put up with any behavior that degrades the Their memory is harmed or martyred in July.

Regarding development in roads and infrastructure, the minister said that there will be no compromise on the quality of development work.
Any contractor involved in irregularities, corruption, or commission trading in road or government infrastructure projects will have their license legally revoked, he said.
He continued that strict measures will also ensure that such offenders never get any government contract in the country again.
Anyone attempting extortion, commission trading, intimidation, or political maneuvering in Jhenaidah from now on would face utmost action, Asaduzzaman stated, highlighting coordinated efforts with the opposition to eradicate these practices.
He urged everyone to cooperate in the fight against corruption, terrorism, extortion, and drugs and asked citizens to report such events to him.
The law minister underlined that disrespect for the martyrs and injured of the July Mass Uprising will not be accepted by the government.
He declared that everyone who committed a crime during the revolt would be held accountable and that “no one involved in fascism or genocide will be allowed to evade justice through legal loopholes.”
