According to a news release issued by Bangladesh Bank here today, the country’s foreign exchange reserves currently total US$26.79 billion.
However, according to the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6), which is used by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves were $21.43 billion.
