10,850 tonnes of rice arrives at Chattogram Port from India 

10,850 tons of rice from India were transported by the MV HT Unit ship, which arrived at Chittagong Port today.

According to a food ministry release this morning, the ship carrying 10,850 tonnes of parboiled Indian rice arrived at Chattogram Port under the International Open Tender Agreement (Package-8).

According to the deal, it was previously intended to import 500,000 tonnes of rice from India.

According to the statement, 366,769 tons of rice have already arrived here, and a total of 450,000 tonnes will be imported in nine consignments.

Rice stored aboard the ship has already undergone sample testing, and the process of emptying the rice will soon start.

The announcement further stated that the necessary steps had been made in this regard.
